Lawrence Krader's Manuscripts
General Plan of the Work
In this work we take up the relation of nature and culture. Far from treating this relation as an opposition, nature/culture, I examine culture, which is analyzed into the processes of the human kind, as a part of nature. The work is made up of three books, each as far as possible self-contained. The first is general, in which the argument of the entire work is offered; in the second, the theory of nature is presented in outline; in the third, the theory of human being, of the human kind and order, together with the examination of man’s place in nature, is set forth.
